Christmas Day and New Year's Eve at Sopwell House

The Charlotte Collingwood Band (Charlotte, John King – guitar, Irvine Jay – piano, Kevin Locke – bass, Glenn Mac – drums) have been invited back to play at the Sopwell House for the third year running for New Years Eve Gala Dinner and Dance 2008. Black tie. Times and prices to be announced.

About The Band…

The Charlotte Collingwood Band provides a personal service to private and corporate clients. We can work closely with you to create a program for your event, and help highlight special moments such a speeches, presentations, or the cutting of a wedding cake.

Our musicians are all professional, versatile and highly experienced, and have played at functions all over the world backing some of the best known names in show-business. The band performs at corporate events, wedding receptions, Christmas parties, private parties and more.

The acoustic quartet plays without a drummer. This format has proved to be the most successful for creating an atmospheric accompaniment to events such as champagne receptions or corporate hospitalities. If dancing is required during the later stages of your event, we have a large selection of our own drum tracks.

Our larger band, the quintet, comprises vocals, keyboards, guitar/vocals, bass/vocals and drums and is suitable for large parties. We supply our own stage and dance floor lighting, and disco for band intervals and through to the close of the event.
