A few words about us

Charlotte Collingwood - Vocals

As an actress Charlotte trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School between ’92-94, graduating with Aled Jones as Jane and Timothy in Salad Days. She went on to play Adriana in The Boys From Syraceuse, and also Jessica in The Merchant of Venice at Harrogate, followed on by The Sound of Music at the West Yorkshire Playhouse. Charlotte appeared at The National Theatre in Lady In The Dark. As a singer, Charlotte now leads her own quartet/quintet and also performs regularly with guitarist John King.

Irvine Jay – Piano

Irvine has worked with many well-known performers in British entertainment from The Drifters to Natalie Imbruglia. His many television appearances range from Live at the London Palladium to The Six O’clock Show. He has been musical director on several series and has performed one of his songs in front of Princess Anne on Pebble Mill at One. He has also had the rare opportunity of playing at The White House for President and Mrs Clinton. Irvine has had the privilege of accompanying Petula Clark on her UK Tour 2002, and until recently enjoyed the rather contrasting honour of being a member of Freddie Starr’s Band.

Clem Cattini – Drums

Clem is one of the most prolific drummers in UK recording history, appearing on hundreds of recordings and featuring on 46 UK number one singles. See all Clem's UK No 1's Clem was asked to join Led Zeppelin for a brief spell in 1975, but turned down the offer.

John King – Guitar and vocals

John studied piano and violin, before moving on to the guitar, where he is equally at home playing in a variety of styles including classical, jazz, rock, and soul. John has played in theatres, pubs, clubs and functions, and toured Europe for a number of years. He has been playing with Charlotte since 2001.

Kevin Locke – Bass and Vocals

Kevin's career has taken him around the world backing many top names like Bob Monkhouse, Ken Dodd, Tom O'Connor, Joe Pasquale, and such varied singers as Elaine Delmar and the legendary Beverley Sisters. Kevin is in much demand as a writer, producer and arranger. Also an actor, he is often seen on TV and Films, appearing in various adverts, recently on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Hornblower, and the Terry Jones film The Wind In The Willows to name a few.
